My name is Steve Howell and I have been growing hydroponically for over 7 years and have never looked back. In the early days I had a few failures but all in all I have reaped the reward from growing hydroponically more than I ever could have imagined.

Because I enjoy hydroponic gardening so much and find it so easy, I decided to start this website to help others who may want to know more about growing hydroponic vegetables, herbs and fruits, or even flowers. I’ve put together a free step-by-step mini-course to help you understand what hydroponics is all about and to help you get started.

The beauty of hydroponics is that it is a very robust form of growing vegetables and in fact from start to finish the time is reduced by more than half in most cases and not only that the volume of product is not only more superior but more plentiful as well.

What is Hydroponics?

Hydroponics is a method of growing plants in nutrient infused water rather than in soil. There are many different methods of hydroponics and just as many different plants that can be grown hydroponically. Popular plants that are grown with homemade hydroponic systems are tomatoes, lettuce, strawberries, herbs, and yes, weed.

Hydroponic setups do not need to be large and complicated and most DIY hydroponic systems are not. They can be as simple as pots suspended in a reservoir to the more complicated ebb and flow or NFT systems.
